My name is Lauranne and I have lost 115 pounds just with healthy eating, portion control and exercise. I was an active teenager, so weight hadn’t been an issue in my life. In my late 20’s, I started putting on the pounds. I was totally out of control with my eating habits. I wanted to sit on the couch and not be seen by the world.
I’d look at myself in the mirror and think “This isn’t me. I have never been overweight”. Years went by, and things just got worse. I was digging myself deeper and deeper into a hole I felt I couldn’t get out of. After numerous discussions with my doctor, I realized that my health was at serious risk. I made up my mind that I needed to make a significant change in my life, before it was too late.
In October 2007, I decided to rejoin Fitness Elite for Women. I started personal training with Cora. With Cora’s coaching and guidance, along with healthier eating habits, I was seeing results quickly. Believe me when I say you have to want to do this for yourself, not your husband, boyfriend, or your children. Whether you have 20 or 100 pounds to lose, just make a commitment to yourself that you’re going to start living a healthier lifestyle. If you stick to it consistently, even if you have setbacks, you will continue to see results.
Today I look and feel great! Thanks to Cora and Fitness Elite for Women, I have finally achieved my fitness goals. Don’t EVER give up in reaching your goals. You can do it!!!
