Lisa Gabriel

Lisa Gabriel has a lifetime of experience in the fitness industry. She has helped people from all walks of life improve their health and wellness through various strength and conditioning programs. "Strength training is the core of a good fitness program. Whether you are trying to recover from having a baby, prevent osteo porosis or simply increase muscle while losing fat, using weights and body resistance exercises have great benefits."

And, Lisa has reaped the benefits. She has used weight training most of her life to sculpt her body for various endeavors. The benefits have been tremendous. As a teenager Lisa was active in gymnastics. In the 1980's she competed in many large bodybuilding contests, placing in every one. In 1982, only 18 months after having her daughter, Lisa qualified and competed in the Ms. USA finishing in the top ten. Like so many of the female bodybuilders of the early 80's, Lisa was an example of how a woman could be strong yet very feminine. She has competed as an equestrian at the Regional and National level winning many titles with her horses.

Now, at age 49 Lisa enjoys the vitality of women half her age. And, she is constantly coming up with new ideas and training routines. "When you exercise as long as I have, you are always looking for new ways to keep motivated! Also, time efficiency is important. I love the challenge of a client who just can't find the time to work out. I've been there with family, home and work. I know it's hard. My job is to help a person find that time." This is what Lisa shares with her clients.

She also brings to them a background and a wealth of knowledge learned through years of experience. Lisa has coached gymnastics at the college level as well as design aerobic programs for high school football players. She has taught gymnastics, aerobics and weight training for 30 years. Lisa was the Women's Coordinator and co-owner of the Roman Gabriel Sports Center . She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.

Lisa Gabriel is available for fitness seminars, group instruction and one on one personal training. "My goal is to help people on many levels reach their own personal goals and enjoy the same benefits I have. The confidence and self esteem that go along with feeling and looking one's best cannot be measured. So many people, especially women have the idea that weight training builds bulk. So they shy away from weights, losing out on the immense benefits. I have trained with weights most of my life and at 5'7' tall and 125 lbs., I still wear a size 4!" So much for bulk!
